Jon Fritzsche, CPA

Manager

Jon serves as one of the tax managers. He oversees the preparation of exempt organization returns. John has a Bachelors in Business and Economics with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of Santa Barbara.

Before going to college, Jon's grandfather told him not to let school get in the way of his education. That always made an impression on his life path. Learning debits and credits is one thing, but it's also important to know how to work with people. Jon has learned the art of empathizing with a client's situation to better serve them.  Those things can't be taught in a book and Jon strives to improve on those skills every day.

Life Away From Gilbert

I love live music and going to concerts of all different kinds.  There's something special when you're one of thousands in a room all there to celebrate the music of a band that has meant so much to you personally.  I also love watching movies with my wife and providing a lap for my cat Mel to sleep on.  Besides that, I truly do love working on 990s and helping my clients put their best face on for the public.

What is your favorite music group now?

My favorite band will always and forever be Tool, but I've definitely been listening to a lot more of the Red Hot Chili Peppers ever since John Frusciante rejoined the band.

A work-related accomplishment that made you proud?

When a local CPA passed away, I was assigned to go assist them with their 990s.  Not only was this a moment where I realized that I was really good at preparing 990s, but it felt amazing to assist this firm that just suffered such an enormous loss.

Favorite subject in high school?

I loved Calculus in high school.  It completely changed the way I saw the world.
