Rochelle Magee

Administrative Assistant 

Rochelle holds a position as one of the administrative assistants to the tax department. She assists with new client setup, tax return assemblies, and document filing. Rochelle has two associate degrees and will have her bachelors degree very soon. She is looking forward to pursuing her masters degree next! Her experience includes being a tax assistant, bookkeeping, and general administrative tasks.

"In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love traveling when I can as well. I love all things fashion and visiting new restaurants and attending concerts. I enjoy watching crime-related shows, documentaries, etc."

If you could snap your fingers and become an expert in something, what would it be and why?

I would become an expert in politics because I truly believe there is a huge population that doesn't understand the subject nor what it entails. I believe everyone should be knowledgeable in the subject because our lives, our country is politically driven most, if not, all of the time. To be informed and to stay in the "know" about the world we live in is a must and I feel like there's not enough people educating others in this field. I like to know what's going on in our government in all areas because being ignorant to it doesn't serve a good purpose.

What profession did you want to be growing up?

I wanted to be a lawyer. I wasn't sure if I wanted to be a criminal lawyer or business lawyer. But I've been told all of my life (even to this day) that I am a great debater and should consider the profession one day. It's still up in the air.... You never know what may happen.

What is your motivation?

My motivation is always my children. They are my reason I continue to strive for better. I always look forward to the days they express how proud they are of me and I vow/pray to continue to set a great example for them as they continue to grow up. Without them and their love, I'd still be a fire individual but they make me better :)
