SACRAMENTO, CA – Gilbert CPAs, a premier CPA firm in Sacramento, announced today that Bobbie Hales has been elected the firm’s new CEO. Bobbie, an experienced business leader, will succeed David Ljung and assume responsibilities on January 1, 2022. David Ljung, CEO for the past eight years, will continue as a firm shareholder until his retirement.

Hales has practiced public accounting for 27 years and serves as the firm’s Nonprofit and Association Industry Team Leader. Hales is a graduate of California State University, Fresno. She is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
