Gilbert, Inc. is pleased to announce that Dave Ljung, CPA has become a BoardSource® Certified Governance Trainer. Ljung was part of a group of 28 nonprofit experts nationally invited to participate in the certification program. With this certification, Ljung offers BoardSource’s signature training to nonprofits on governance roles and responsibilities, Board-staff partnership, Board structure, a Board’s role in fundraising, the Board building cycle, and Board performance assessment.
As Shareholder and leader of Gilbert’s Nonprofit and Association Team, Ljung is dedicated to serving the nonprofit sector. In fact, nonprofit organizations represent nearly 50% of the firm’s practice. In addition to offering audit, tax and consulting services, Ljung also trains Board and Finance committee members on their fiduciary responsibilities, as well as consults on a variety of other topics.
