One possibility is sending checks of $1,000 or more to Americans, said U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin. Also under discussion are other emergency funding tools such as a payroll tax holiday, “but it does come over a period of months, many months, and we want to do something much faster than that,” said President Trump.
